Double Bass

This is one of my favorite projects that I have done. I was assigned to create a human-sized sculpture out of cardboard so I built this life sized double bass.

This project was a really cool opportunity to work on a larger scale than I ordinarily would in a medium that is usually seen as garbage. I enjoyed working around the limitations of the material and creating an armature to support the weak cardboard. Because I do not own a double bass I was forced to look up dimensions to create an accurate rendition.
